Lehmann B. Smith
Lehmann B. Smith has written many hundreds of songs, all in search of 'the good one'. As a result of these attempts, his name is attached to six diverse and critically acclaimed albums, from ‘The Big Dry’ (2009) to ‘Thank God For My Body’ (2015). Finding his greatest success as a sideman for the likes of Totally Mild and Kes Band, Smith has often been described as a musician’s musician; an undiscovered talent, as it were. A lake in Tasmania is named after him - it runs deep and cold. At this stage, it remains unclear whether these qualities were taken into consideration when naming the body of water in his honour. We let you decide.
